Born amidst the wilds of Melbourne's creative bohemian emergence of
the early 21st century, Alex Rowe works mostly as a solo soul/roots
artist, now based in the Gold Coast. A multi instrumentalist and
accomplished sound engineer, Alex created the stage persona Arowe in 2009, to
perform and promote her songwriting. Over the years, releasing
several solo singles through national distribution and limited press.
Arowe's vocals featured on the 2012 bass music track 'Sufi Dub'
remixed by Austero performed at Burning Man by the producer.
The recently released second collaboration between Austero and Arowe 'Let's get started'
was set to be performed at this year’s festival which was postponed due to the released April 2020, amid covid 19 pandemic. Arowe is looking forward to performing again soon. sadly their festival
performances have been postponed like the rest of the live
entertainment industry.

Having carefully developed a broad career across the arts first
training as both as a live and studio audio engineer across many
established venues in Melbourne, Alex is also an established band
leader, and entertainment business industry entrepreneur.
Most recently Alex has recently been developing her skills around the in digital
communications on various platforms in her role as entertainment marketing
lecturer at JMC for the Entertainment Business Management course. andShe is also busy
preparing launching her new business Singing Like a Boss a..? (some info on what this is)…..

business mindset for developing development for events, delivering creative projects
and building arts careers.
